Martial Arts for Multiple Sclerosis: Adaptive Practice With MA4MS

Fluideosolutions is proud to highlight Martial Arts for Multiple Sclerosis—MA4MS, a project that supports people living with Multiple Sclerosis through adaptive martial arts and personalized learning. MA4MS believes practice should meet each person where they are, without forcing competition or one-size-fits-all training. That means standing movement for some, and for others a seated approach, mental rehearsal, breathing, balance awareness, pacing, and low-energy participation.

MA4MS also emphasizes confidence, focus, and resilience. Visualization and movement skills can stay connected even when MS changes how the body functions. The program includes not only individuals with MS, but also caregivers, instructors, and professionals who support respectful adaptation. Resources and guidance help keep educational materials practical and inclusive.

What MA4MS centers on

Adaptive movement, mental discipline, and individualized accommodations that protect participation and encourage growth.

Who MA4MS is for

People with MS, caregivers, martial arts instructors, and healthcare professionals seeking supportive, nonjudgmental options for training.
